Avery Danae (she/her/they/them) is a New Jersey based poet, writer, content creator, music lover, public speaker, social justice & mental health advocate, and proud member of Gen Z.
Her YA poems & personal essays are published in 2020: The Year That Changed America, edited by Kevin Powell’s Writing Workshop; Elan, her high school’s literary magazine; The Power of Poetry, Catholicism of the Modern World, and An Injustice! publications on Medium; and Spoonie Magazine.
They are attending Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, majoring in English and minoring in Creative Writing, African American Studies, and Gender & Sexuality Studies.
When they’re not writing or thinking about writing, you can find them spending time with friends and family, singing, drawing, journaling, or binge watching The Simpsons and Beat Bobby Flay.
